What I don't like about Chinese Paladin 3?

Though I really love Chinese Paladin 3, it's still not the perfect series. The love stories and sides stories are strong but the main storyline quite fail. The whole saving world thingy, Xie Jian Xian (played by Gordon Lau), the 5 pearls, are a little bit crappy.

Let's just take Qing Er (Lin Ye Ping and Zi Xuan's daughter) as example. It was told that Zi Xuan (played by Tiffany Tang) used the Water Pearl to seal Qing Er so that she could maintain her youth and wait for Lin Ye Ping (played by Wallace Huo)'s reincarnation and now since they need the 5 pearls to seal the tower so that demons can't escape, Chan Qing (played by Wallace Huo) was forced to choose between his daughter or the world saving. It was hard for Chan Qing and Zi Xuan, they finally decided to sacrifice their Qing Er but suddenly Qing Er was saved by the lotus flower o-o Can't they just say it that Qing Er won't need to sarifice?!

Another weird thing is that everybody died after gaving Jing Tian (played by Hu Ge) their powers. The first time I watched Chinese Paladin 3, I didn't even know that they died o-o The worst is that Jing Tian didn't even react to Xue Jian (played by Yang Mi)'s death at all...instead, he went to see Zi Xuan...

Plus, they make Xie Jian Xian too strong. It was like nothing can kill him so we have the poor Jing Tian who always loose in those bets with Xie Jian Xian. From the moment where Xie Jian Xian get out of the box, it's getting weird. Chang Qing who try to make the world peaceful by torturing himself...Mao Mao (played by Lam Chi Chung) exchanging his flesh for food...Don't get me wrong, I love Mao Mao and I was sad when he died. It was a tragic scene but still...exchanging his flesh for foods...it's kind of lame.

I really like the sides stories and the characters but it's the main story that bother me. Everything with Xie Jian Xian and all. When they were just travelling to get the 5 pearls, It was okay but when it comes to defeat Xie Jian Xian...it was a little weak.
